Owner and president since 1983, Joe's reputation for detail, patience, and high energy have made Laciak>cpa one of the most sought after CPA firms in Northwest Indiana, Porter County and Chicago's South Suburbs. He has solid experience in all phases of accountancy and financial advising, concentrating on the areas of small business management, personal and corporate services and wealth management.
Joe earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Mathematics from St. Joseph's College in Indiana. He is an active member of the Valparaiso, Munster, Schererville, and Merrillville Chambers, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Indiana CPA Society, and the Notre Dame Club of Northwest Indiana.
Dale joined Laciak Accountancy Group in 1994, with more than 25 years of experience in the public accounting field. Dale graduated from Indiana University. As manager, he oversees all client business and has been instrumental in helping companies achieve success through a variety of accounting and tax-related situations.
Laura joined the firm as a Manager in January of 2006 with over 19 years of accounting experience in a combination of private companies and public accounting firms, including more than 10 years in practice in Chicago. Laura is well versed in financial accounting issues and has extensive experience in the payroll tax area. Laura also has significant experience with S corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, and high net worth individuals.
Laura earned her bachelor's degree in accounting with highest distinction from Purdue University. She earned her master's degree in taxation with honors from the Washington School of Law. Laura is a licensed CPA in Indiana and Illinois and a member of the Illinois CPA Society as well as the Merrillville, Munster, and Schererville Chambers of Commerce.
After completing an internship with Laciak Accountancy Group, Tom joined the firm full time in May of 2007. Tom graduated from Purdue University Calumet with a BS in Accounting. His duties include monthly payroll, bookkeeping, and tax work for a variety of clients as well as assisting the managers on special projects. In the fall of 2008, Tom will begin the Master of Accountancy program at Purdue.
Jane Szymczak joined Laciak Accountancy as the director of client services. Formerly with Indiana Mailing Systems, Jane brings 20 years of sales experience to an established growing firm. Jane is ready to provide you with the personalized attention you deserve.
Leah Ann Langel brings extensive experience with global CPA firms to the local level, having worked with Coopers & Lybrand and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Leah Ann's dedication to the vision and the growth of Laciak>cpa are tremendous assets to the firm.
