Accounting Manager - CPA

Job Description:

The accounting manager will manage his/her own portfolio of clients. The manager

will be responsible for the general monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting for

these clients that includes the following tasks.

• Act as client controller.

• Perform compilation / reviews / business analysis for

a variety of clients.

• Learn each client's day to day business as well as

all aspects of the accounting cycle.

• Improve client's accounting system and

information flows.

• Develop data statistics to serve as an indicator of

monthly operations results.

• Gather information regarding client's goals.

• Forecast and prepare budgets and cash flow projections.

• Develop and oversee the process for all general accounting for all clients.

• Work with other accounting managers to review tax returns of all types.

• Supervise and mentor accounting staff.

• Work on a variety of special client related projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• BS in Accounting - CPA required.

• Seven to ten years of accounting experience required.

• Must be client service oriented with excellent written

and oral communication skills

• Must have an interest in practice development.

• Willing to complete the accounting duties as well as

delegate as necessary.

Senior Staff Accountant - CPA

Job Description:

The senior staff accountant will prepare and review tax returns: individual, corporate,

partnership/LLC, estate, gift, exempt organization, fiduciary, benefit plan, payroll

and sales tax. This position will also prepare and review compiled and reviewed financial statements, perform and review accounting work through all stages of the accounting cycle, supervise and mentor junior staff, and work on tax planning and consulting projects. Extensive client contact.

Qualifications:

• CPA required.

• Three to five years of public accounting experience.

• Must be career, detail, and client service oriented.

• Must be able to work overtime.

• Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Present a professional appearance and attitude.

• Proficient in Windows operating system and MS Office Suite, Excel,

Word, and Outlook.

• Handle responsibilities for multiple client engagements simultaneously.

• Knowledge of QuickBooks and/or Lacerte is a plus.

• Master's degree in accounting or taxation is a plus.

• Interest in practice development is a plus.

Junior Staff Accountant

Job Description:

The junior staff accountant will prepare tax returns: individual, corporate,

partnership/LLC, estate, gift, exempt organization, fiduciary, benefit plan, payroll,

and sales tax. Also prepare compiled and reviewed financial statements, accounting work through all stages of the accounting cycle, and assist on consulting projects. Some client contact.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (December 2006 grads OK).

• Intent to obtain CPA designation as soon as possible crucial.

• Obtaining CPA designation is required.

• Must be career, detail, and client service oriented.

• Must have desire to learn.

• Must be able to work overtime.

• Possess excellent oral and written communication skills and present a

professional appearance and attitude.

• Proficient in Windows operating system and MS Office Suite of Excel,

Word, and Outlook.

• Have consistent access to reliable transportation.

• Prior work experience in accounting field is a plus.

• Knowledge of QuickBooks and/or Lacerte is a plus.
