For clients and visitors at Laciak>cpa, the “more” they receive starts the moment they open the door to the CPA firm’s Valparaiso office. That’s where Heidi Frisch, Laciak’s executive assistant, is typically stationed. After giving you a warm smile and friendly hello, don’t be surprised if Heidi offers you a cup of tea or coffee and a piece of some wonderful home baked good she’s whipped up. And that’s just the beginning.

When Heidi’s not welcoming clients by foot or phone, she’s busy organizing and filing paperwork, making copies, coordinating schedules, and by her own description, doing whatever she can to support the team so they can do more for clients of the 31 year old accountancy group.

Providing excellent support to the team isn’t the only way Heidi helps uphold the Laciak promise of delivering more than a typical accountancy firm. Heidi’s background makes her exceptionally qualified to assist in the family-owned small business arena, beginning with her experience assisting her developer aunt during the construction of a Victorian-themed condominium village in Woodstock, Illinois, to her  roles in operations, customer care, and public relations for a network of 100+ locally owned and operated franchised businesses. She understands the opportunities and challenges small business owners face, and can assist her internal customers, the Laciak team, as well as Laciak’s clientele base, better because of it.

When she’s not helping business operations run more smoothly and efficiently for Laciak>cpa, Heidi loves cooking, baking, shopping, and working in the yard at her Valparaiso home. Heidi belongs to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Valparaiso, where she’s a member of the Womens Guild.
